Maderas El Real S.L. began its work within the sector of first wood transformation in 1985, although up until this year we had continually been investing in new types of technology. At present, our production lines are completely automated, and our 18 employees work in two shifts. We use modern equipment that enables us to produce efficiently and accurately.

With a surface area of 55,000 m2, of which 2,000 m2 are covered, Maderas El Real is located in the town of Sarrión (Teruel), on the N-234 road that joins Teruel with Valencia. Such a privileged location guarantees our pine wood supplies. Due to its special physical-mechanical characteristics, this type of wood gives the end product numerous advantages. We have a drying out plant measuring 50,000 m2, which takes advantage of our climate (generally cold and dry), and which guarantees the slow natural drying out of the wood to achieve greater stability.Furthermore, Maderas El Real hastwo artificial driers that are supplied with heat from Real Energética S.L. , a co-generation company.

The main varieties of pine we work with at the sawmill are cluster, insignis, scots and maritime, and our annual consumption of pine wood is approximately 24,000 m3. We are constantly committed to the environment, and we promote the management of sustained forests by only buying raw materials from controlled plantations, where the use of the forests respects nature.
